Mission
In order to facilitate the work of those individuals with interests in early childhood education, the Dean established the Centre for Early Childhood Education and Research (CECER) in the Faculty of Education. The Centre is an interdisciplinary unit and involves the active participation of faculty, students, and visiting scholars from a range of units across the campus and the broader community. The major purpose of the Centre is to serve as a community of discourse within the Faculty and the University around issues pertaining to professional development, research, policy, and leadership in the area of early childhood development and education.
